With all of my being, I believe this to be true: Prolonged stress invites illness, and where it appears, reveals where we are emotionally and physically vulnerable.
Members of a family seem to have similar ways of handling (or not handling) emotions. My family members seem to hold their stress in the Respiratory System, manifesting in COPD, Asthma, Pulmonary Fibrosis of the lungs, Lung Cancer, Allergies... you name it.
Unspoken Truth, desires, regrets, even unexpressed love.... sits in the lungs like deadweight, stagnating the energy until that area – filled with dis-ease and stuck energy, declines in it's function.
